Network Marketing Secrets....They Aren't Telling You

I'm sure you've been to your company's convention or on the conference calls where the so-called "heavy-hitters" of your company talk about success, and how to build your business...and yada, yada, yada.

They reveal to you the "secrets"that got them to where they are...or so they say. But what you may not know is how they really built their business.

If you're new to network marketing or you just haven't been able to "crack the code" to it yet, you must know that one component of success in your business is building relationships; if people like you and think that you have some value to offer them, they will join you.

In the case of heavy hitters, some have amassed a long list of people (other heavy-hitters, previous downlines from other companies etc..); this is who they marketed to when they joined your company, which is the reason why they rose so fast up the ranks.

This is true in some cases, but not all.

Other ways your heavy hitters rose their way up the ranks, is through information selling. They market information, mlm systems, products, training, and other retail products before they pitch their opportunity. Notice I said before.

This gives them the leverage to use the money from the retail products that they market upfront to fund their business (advertising). This is called a "funded proposal" system.

If you take a good look around, you will see top network marketing "gurus" peddling products, information, and systems to people- namely other network marketers.

Some people like information selling so much (it's lucrative too, if you get the right system) that they never go back to marketing their primary network marketing company again.

This is the biggest clue that marketing retail products to other network marketers before your opportunity is a valid system to use.

Here are the reasons why:

a. Get prospects into your marketing funnel so you can backend them into your opportunity.
b. Get prospects to pay you for training, thereby reducing your costs from acquiring them in the first place.
c. Make immediate money upfront to fund your marketing expenses.

This is the "secret" that a lot of "heavy-hitters" use, but don't reveal to their downline because is some cases, you are buying your training, tools and systems from them and making them wealthier and funding their business for them-so naturally they're not going to tell you that you are their funded proposal!

There's nothing wrong with that, but what is, is telling your downline that you're building your business one way and telling them to do the same, when in reality you are not building your business like that at all.

Information selling is the most easiest and lucrative product to sell on the Internet-whether you are in network marketing or not. Don't take my word for it, look around; what are the top network marketers in the industry doing? What are they selling?

Joe Schroeder, Mike Dillard, Ann Sieg, Randy Gage, Dan Calvert, Big Al, Robert Blackman, Dani Johnson, Jeffrey Combs, Aaron Rashkin, and on.....

The secret is out.

If you want to continue marketing the same way you have been by leading with your opportunity, keep doing it if it's working for you; chances are, it's not.

Ask yourself this: how long would you knowingly drive the wrong way down the highway before you had the courage to turn around and go the right way? Hopefully not long.
